About Us

Our History

Irene Christian College, founded in 2015, holds a rich history and a strong commitment to academic excellence and Christian values. Our institution was established by the visionary and dedicated educator, Dr. Irene Machiri, whose passion for education and faith-led principles laid the foundation for this esteemed institution. In honour of her invaluable contributions, the college proudly bears her name.

We believe that there is potential in each and every child. What is important is how that potential is cultivated, groomed and made into an essential and useful skillset. Our students are groomed in the servant leadership style, ensuring that every one of them will have an impact in the world in their own right, because of the self-confidence, self-awareness and self-drive instilled in them. Our teaching method is a combination of it being learner focused, interactive, progressive and reconstructionism oriented.
